Kyphoplasty

This minimally invasive surgery is used to repair spinal compression fractures. With the use of xrays – an expandable balloon is placed into the vertebra and this is used to reconstruct the collapsed bone.

 

Vertebroplasty

This minimally invasive, non-surgical procedure works to relieve the pain of spinal compression fractures. Bone cement is introduced into a spinal fracture to hold the bones in place and relieve painful movements.
